Tantra Yoga can be integrated into your life with a program specific to your needs. Through private sessions we will design a program that can involve an Ayurvedic Walking Massage, Asana, Pranayama, Bandha and Satsung. Private Sessions will be held in the comfort of your own home. in the summer, we can also choose an outdoor space.
Ayurvedic Walking Massage The walking massage is a traditional Ayurvedic massage which helps recover the body from the skeletal and muscular changes that take place during asana practice. The safe and effective massage works along the nadisystem helping drain toxins which relax emotional, mental and physical tension resulting in improvement of overall health. This ayurvedic massage is excellent for incorporating into your tantric practice and is easy to learn which is great for sharing with your partner or Yogi friends This practice can only be incorporated into the programs for individuals and couples.
Asana Asana practice is a set sequence of postures called the Tridosha Series. There are different variations that can be additionally incorporated into your tailored practice. Practicing yoga in the tantric form is not as sexual as you might come to think from modern misunderstandings. The practice of Tantra Yoga is truly a celebration of ones self. Through a range of beginner to advanced postures expressed by your level of comfort, you will lead yourself to rehabilitation, improved flexibility and health. Pranayama Prana meaning "fundamental life force" and yama meaning "to control", breakdown simply as "controlling the life force" which is our breath. The practice of pranayama brings attention to your breathing. Through a series of breathing techniques you will be able to clear the sinuses, control your prana and connect with the subconscious. The benefits of pranayama in your everyday life are endless.
Bandhas In sanskrt, bandha is to lock, seal, or bind. These techniques can be incorporated into asana as well as their own individual practice. These bandhas help in directing energy by interconnecting the inner systems.
Satsung A gathering of truth. Satsungs are shared in any session from individual to group. This is a safe place between teacher and practitioner(s) where we can discuss absolutely anything from tantra yoga, personal experiences, and health. This is an excellent way to deepen your understanding of yoga, tantra, or yourself which will help you take the finds from your mat and translate them into our every day life.
